CREATIVE PROCESS

The story behind the Digital Apprentice Challenge

Sussex and Brighton’s creative and digital economy is growing at a phenomenal rate.

The Digital Apprentice Challenge will help to ensure that our future generation is firmly plugged into the opportunities that this affords whilst contributing to increased youth employment and skills and more sustainable, integrated communities.

‘Creative Process provide a high quality recruitment and training service for the Sky digital and marketing apprentices, a new generation of digital savvy, young talent’

Poonam Chopra, British Sky Broadcasting

Creative Process launched the digital apprenticeship on behalf of Government at Apple’s UK HQ in 2009. Five years later and thousands of young people a year now access digital apprenticeships. They are employed by a diverse range companies and organisations, all with which we directly work, including Sky, EMI, National Theatre, Saatchi, MTV, C4, Publicis, Government Department of Business, schools, local authorities, charities and many more.

The 2012 digital apprentice Brighton and Sussex launch was hosted by leading digital company i-crossing with Caroline Lucas, MP and the Deputy Leader of the Council, Phelim MacCafferty. Over 100 employers attended and since then the pilot programme has delivered 50 young people into sustainable jobs over the last two years.

In 2015 we want to enable more local young people to access local jobs in our thriving creative and digital sector and to have as much opportunity in doing so as external graduates.

Creative Process offer a high quality and bespoke digital media and marketing apprenticeship training service that has really helped to meet our needs’
